Milwaukee Pallets USA is a referral service. We pass pallet recycling and disposal requests from Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin to partner suppliers in our network. Availability depends on partner suppliers.
Many pallets that look finished still have a use. Reusing a pallet avoids building a new one, so partner suppliers typically sort what they collect: pallets that can be reused or repaired go back into service, usable boards can be salvaged, and partner suppliers can grind unrepairable pallets into mulch or other products.
Partner suppliers commonly accept pallets with broken boards, missing components, warping and heavy wear. Pallets contaminated with hazardous materials are generally excluded. If you are unsure about a load, describe it in your request; for disposal rules that apply to your business, check current regulations.
Pickup is available through partner suppliers. Tell us roughly how many pallets you have, their condition and your location, and a partner supplier follows up to arrange collection. If you generate pallet waste regularly, ask about recurring pickups.

Getting the Most from Recycling
Accumulate Volume
Larger loads are generally easier to arrange pickup for. Store pallets in a covered area so they don't deteriorate further.
Separate Conditions
Sort repairable pallets from scrap. Pre-sorting speeds up collection and helps suppliers quote accurately.
Remove Other Materials
Clear plastic wrap, cardboard, and strapping before pickup. Clean loads are easier to process.
